Film Faced Ply prices hike to 8 %.May 6 2010 6:12PM
Held a meeting on 5th May in Yamunanager, producers of film faced shuttering plywood has announced to increase prices after a detailed analysis on costing. Blaming to sharp increase in phenol prices manufacturers have compelled to hike the prices of all kind of shuttering plywood up to 8 %. The meeting was called by Haryana Plywood Manufacturers Association to discuss the losses incurred by plants.
About 30 manufacturers of Film faced plywood from Haryana and Punjab took part in the meeting and anonymously decided to increase the price hike with immediate effect. The manufacturers told that the price of Phenol has increased and increasing production cost trend has forced them to take the decision of price hike.
In this meeting the members and office bearers of HPMA Mr. Devender Chawla (President), Prof. S.K Agarwal, Mr.Rajnish Arora, Mr. Narender Bansal, Mr.Sanjiv Gupta, Mr. Rajiv Gupta, Mr. Bhuvnesh Bansal, Mr Pradip, Mr. Gaurav Chopal etc were present. Apart from this Mr. Mahesh Gupta & Mr. Baldev Singh from Punjab took part in meeting.
